Then the sun rose up out of the sea after the tragic that happened. Sailing along the ocean no bird, no albatross did follow, nor food or play. The ancient mariner new had done a demonic thing. He stated in front of the crew that he had killed the bird that struck the breeze to pound on their ship. He claimed if a bird ever does a bad thing to us it has to be eliminated. The breeze did blow time by time, and then they got into a section into the silent sea.
Days and days were passed, the ocean was still, each wave gently hit the ship. It was like a calm painting shipped into a gallery. something was making the waves to punch upon the ship. A dark large figure swerving closer , the monster had made a large area of slime upon the ocean. The water like witches oils, suddenly turned into a burnt green, dark blue and black ocean. Luckily the monster disappeared. In some dreams assured that the spirit of the plague was what had caused that wild creature to come to our ship. In respect the ancient mariner hung the dead albatross around his neck so he knows what he had done.
Time had passed each persons throat had been choked with soot. Everyone was dying of thirst, About 10 minutes later ancient mariner spotted something high above in the sky. it moved and moved, until it had turned into a large shape, the weird shape had followed the ship wherever it would go. with throats cramped with dry lips, ancient mariner bit his arm and sucked his blood. He yelled “a sail, a sail”. Ancient mariner felt ecstatic that that means help. However that ships reflection came on the bright sun, just on sea level, it looked as if the sun was flecked with bars as if through a dungeons gate was waiting. He saw in the distance two woman on the ship, he questioned is that death of the woman’s mate. He could see her skin was pail white, the nightmare of life and death which shows they had died of slavery or of thirst. They had gambled (both ships) and who ever had won, they would have a better future. They shouted “We have won!, we have won!”. Then they saw something about to happen. In the distance, over the sea, off shot instantly the spectre bark.
he looked side ways he’s blood seemed to sip, he had fear in his heart, he couldn’t believe was he had seen. One after one each person stared at him, he felt he was being cursed. Four times fifty men, dropped down one by one. He just stood their, he said every soul, it passed him by, like the whizz of my crossbow.
Strong metaphor that I chose:
As if through a dungeon gate he peered: I think this is a strong metaphor. this is because using the phrase “dungeon gate” it describes the boat as being haunted. Another point for the boat being haunted is that a couple stanzas ahead it sais “off shot instantly the spectre bark which tells us it disappeared in a sudden movement.[this wouldn’t happen to a normal ship]
