Swiftly, swiftly flew the ship,

Yet she sailed softly too,

Sweetly, sweetly blew the breeze,

On me alone it blew

My edited verse:

Rapidly, the ship flew,

but still she sailed smoothly too,

pleasantly the breeze came,

finding its way in short fame
